A platform that connects businesses and service providers in the Maldives, Tradian, has been launched today. The platform was officially unveiled during a ceremony at Hotel Jen by Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef.
The platform will provide services under the first phase of the National Single Window Project. The Economic Ministry said the platform will bring together the agencies involved in issuing permits to businesses in the Maldives to provide services seamlessly under a single portal.
The portal was launched as part of the government's broader effort to create a more business-friendly environment in the Maldives. Although the platform was launched today, it will officially come into operation by the end of this year.
The National Single Window Project is a collaborative effort between the Economic Ministry, TradeNet Maldives Corporation, and other relevant agencies.
