Discussions have been held between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia to enhance collaboration between Maldivian small and medium enterprises and Saudi Arabia's businesses.
The discussions took place during a meeting with Mr. Al-Husseini, the Governor of the Saudi Arabian Small and Medium Enterprises Authority, Al-Monsha’at, during Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed’s ongoing visit to Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, the Governor briefed Minister Saeed on the assistance being provided by Al-Monsha’ath to SMEs. The meeting also discussed ways to strengthen relations between Maldivian businesses and Saudi Arabia's businesses.
The Maldivian government has already formulated a five-year strategy to foster a creative industry aimed at boosting the productivity of SMEs and individual creative workers.
