President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Madam Sajidha Mohamed departed for the United Kingdom on Wednesday evening on an unofficial visit.
According to the President's Office, the President will personally cover all expenses related to the trip, including those associated with administrative duties, as well as family and personal matters. No further information on the trip was disclosed as it was an unofficial visit.
Both President Dr. Muizzu and Madam Sajidha completed part of their higher education in the UK.
