Dr. Aishath Muneeza has been appointed as the Chair of Maldives Center for Islamic Finance Limited (MCIFL).
Dr. Muneeza, a graduate in Islamic Finance, is presently serving as the Deputy Minister at Finance Ministry. She is also the Chair at the Capital Market Sharia Advisory Council.
The Government had launched an ambitious plan to develop a robust Islamic finance sector in the country.
