Bank of Maldives (BML) has launched Easy Pay services in 10 shops of three atolls in time for Ramadan.
Major shops in HA., L., and Fuvahmulah will now have Easy Pay services.
A statement released by BML said Easy Pay services have been introduced for 10 shops and was working to expand the services in the atolls. BML Easy Pay service will allow customers to access an additional credit limit matching the credit card limit.
Under Easy Pay customers will be able to purchase up to their credit limit and easy payment options for purchases.
BML said the customers will have periods of three months, six months, 12 months, 18 months and 24 months to pay back the amount with an interest rate of five percent. Easy Pay service will be available only for Amex Credit Card customers.
With the new 10 shops, a total of 45 shops will offer Easy Pay services and customers will be able to purchase products from the scheme.
