Bank of Maldives had donated goods to the Children’s Orphanage in Hulhumale’ under a yearly program that is run by the bank and their staff. Bank of Maldives and it’s staff have donated to the orphanage under the yearly program held in honour of Ramadan “Roadha Vedhun”.
The bank has said that the bank and the staff hold fund raising programs, and furthermore even donate from the bank’s own funds as well. The bank donated presents to 82 children living in the orphanage and has established a library with over 700 books.
Presents were donated at “Roadha Vedhun” which was held yesterday. During this auspicious event, the staff spent time with the children from the orphanage, and organised many activities for the children to participate in.
“We are very happy that we got the opportunity to organise such an event for the children in time for Ramadan. We as a community give importance to matters such as giving a helping hand to the people who are in need of it. The bank is grateful for the stage who fundraised and helped financially in the Roadha vedhun program” the Deputy CEO Aishath Nooraddeen said.
