Maldives United Opposition (MUO) has created additional positions within their ranks.
A statement released by MUO stated that former Member of Parliament Hamid Abdul Ghafoor had been appointed as the Shadow Cabinet Secretary, while Mohamed Zuhair had been appointed as the Press Secretary. Zuhair severed as the Spokesperson during former President Mohamed Nasheed's cabinet.
Akram Kamaluddin, the former Chairman at Raajje TV and MDP Male' Constituency President, was appointed as the Media Secretary. Mohamed Manik was appointed as the Chief of Staff and Umar Abdu Razzaq was appointed as the Foreign Secretary.
Ahmed Mahloof currently serves as Spokesperson of MUO, in addition to the newly appointed Press and Media Secretaries.
The statement added that MUO was preparing to hold the first major rally in Male' on Thursday, adding the rally is a peaceful one aimed at the whole of the nation.
