Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure has stated that the Ministry will not be issuing permission for road closures during the upcoming Independence Day break.
A statement released by the Ministry today, stated that no roads will be closed for construction and other purposes from July 25th to 29th. This decision was brought about in order let the people watch and participate in Independence Day celebration activities without hindrance and in peace.
Various activities have been planned and organized by the government for an eventful Independence Day this year - along with 3D artworks to be showcased on the roads of Malé.
