MTCC, FSM signs as Boating Awards co-sponsors

Fuel Supply Maldives (FSM) and Maldives Transport and Contracting Company, (MTCC) has signed in on as co-sponsors of the Maldives Boating Awards 2016.

Unica Pvt Ltd, organizers of Maldives Boating Award 2016, said that MTCC and FSM had signed on as co-sponsors of the awards. The deadline for nomination in categories had been extended to the end of this month. Unica Managing Director Moosa Azmeel said the awards show will be a festive ceremony.

Nominated Categories of Maldives Boating Awards 2016

  • Best Liveaboard or Yacht Builder (applicable for boat building companies and boat building individuals who have a sufficient profile of works)
  • Best Built Liveaboard or Yacht (applicable for Liveaboards and Yachts built in the Maldives and having its operations in the Maldives during the period 2013 or before).
  • Best Production Fiber Vessel (15m to 40m) (applicable for Fiber Glass Vessels built in the Maldives).
  • Best Production Fiber Vessel (05m to 24m) (applicable for Fiber Glass Vessels built in the Maldives)
  • Best Production Sailing Yacht (15m to 30m) (applicable for boats built in the Maldives with Mast and Sail which are in operation).
  • Best Boat Design of the Year (applicable for Designs made for Maldivian Vessels. Boat Building Companies, Individuals, Design Firms and Freelance Designers).
  • Liveaboard or Yacht Operator of the Year (Local Operators) (applicable for Liveaboard Operators having its operation in the Maldives and with proof of records).
  • Liveaboard or Yacht Brand of the Year (applicable for Liveaboard Brands who own minimum two Liveaboard vessels and operates under one brand)
  • Dive Guide of the Year (applicable for Local Dive Instructors and Dive Masters who have worked on liveaboard for minimum period of 5 years in the Liveaboard Industry).
  • Surf Guide of the Year (applicable for Local Surf Guides who have worked on Liveaboards for minimum period of 5 years in the Liveaboard Industry).
  • Marine Engineering Service Provider of the Year (applicable for Marine Engineering Workshops and Individuals who have a sufficient profile of work).
  • Liveaboard Captain of the Year (applicable for locals who have been in the industry for more than 10 years and who have contributed for the development of the Liveaboard industry).
  • Best Crew Team of the Year (entitled to Liveaboard Crew Team (Best Crew Members).
  • Boat Equipment Supplier of the Year (applicable for Local Marine Equipment suppliers who have been in business and have a good track record of the service).
  • Dock Yard or Slipway of the Year (applicable for Dock Yards / Slipways which have been in business and have a good track record of the service).
  • Most preferred Marine Engine Brand of the Year (Main Engine) (applicable for Marine Engine Brands who have their distributors/ agents based in the Maldives).
  • Most preferred Marine Generator Brand of the Year (applicable for Generator Brands who have their distributors / agents based n the Maldives).
  • Most preferred Dive Equipment Brand of the Year (applicable for Dive Equipment Brands who have their distributors / agents based in the Maldives).
  • Most preferred Dive Compressor Brand of the Year (applicable for Dive Compressor Brands who have distributors / agents based in the Maldives).
