Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has stated that the 750,000th visitor will arrive to the country tomorrow.
MMPRC will hold a colorful welcoming reception at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport to welcome the visitors.
The country is gearing to welcome 1.5 million tourists to the country. The country welcomed the 500,000th visitor to the country two months back. The 500,000th visitor was French national Nicolas Lamperin, accompanied by his wife Celine and son Paul. He was awarded with a free holiday from Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru and a commemorative plaque.
Tourism Ministry statistics show that at the end of July, 619, 921 tourists had visited the country, a 1.8 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
