President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has designated, to be carried out within the second phase of the Hulhumalé development project, 1,500 Housing units to professionals working for the government within varying disciplines.
President's Office reported that the decision was taken after discussions with Economic and Youth Council. This initiative is part of the administration’s social housing pledge.
Neither President's Office nor Housing Ministry had revealed additional details of the project.
