A heavily decomposed corpse of a man was found inside a room at Halaveli Resort.
Police spokesperson said the report of a dead body was filed around 8pm Sunday and an investigation team had been deployed to the resort.
Police however, did not divulge any further information in relation to the incident.
Sources say the dead man was a tourist holidaying in the resort.
