Police ordered to produce Nasheed's spokesperson in court

Civil Court has ordered police to arrest and produce former president Mohamed Nasheed's spokesperson Mohamed Zuhair and two others in court over an ongoing civil lawsuit.

Police confirmed the court order and said the search for the trio was now underway.

Zuhair is reportedly living in neighbouring Sri Lanka where he moved with his family shortly after Nasheed resigned in 2012.

The exact nature of the lawsuit remains unclear but police have been ordered to produce the three in court on November 16.
