Maldives' main airport operator is seeking a firm to operate and manage six new international franchises at Velana International Airport (VIA).
The Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) had the said the airport would welcome six new franchises including McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Starbucks and KFC.
MACL said it was looking to complete project by July this year, and that the franchises will be set up near the waterfront area of the airport.
Interested parties have been asked to submit proposals by the end of January. MACL said interested firms could propose multiple concepts to operate the franchises.
