Maldives Gas was crowned best subsidiary company under State Trading Organization (STO) on Saturday.
During the ceremony to mark STO's anniversary, out of the three STO subsidiaries, Maldives Gas bagged the 'Best Governance Excellence Award'.
The annual award is designed to recognize the company which best adopts measures of good governance and follows cooperate governance principles.
Maldives Gas hailed the award as a symbol of the progress it has made. The company also vowed to continue to follow good governance and enhanced customer service.
