Police have destroyed over 20kg of drugs seized during various drug busts throughout the archipelago.
Police said 20.68 kg of heroin and 1.25 kg of cannabis were destroyed on Saturday, all of which were seized during operations between 2004-2008.
Police said the drugs were destroyed under the direct supervision of the special committee appointed for destroying drugs.
The wrappings used to pack the drugs and some of the evidence used in court were also destroyed along with drugs, police said.
