Investors to meet in Addu for guest house development talks

An investors forum will be held on the 22nd of this month in Addu, with the target of developing guesthouses with accommodation for 3000 guests. The forum is being held by the Maldives Integrated Tourism Development Corporation (MITDC), a company formed by the government to promote mid tier tourism businesses in the Maldives.

The Managing Director of MITDC revealed that 150 businessmen would be attending the forum.

The one day forum will be held at the Equator Village in Gan island.

International scheduled flights have started in Gan International Airport, along with the government bid to promote tourism in the southern city.
