Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Sunday summoned and questioned ex-ruling party lawmaker MP Saud Hussain over what is believed to be an ongoing graft investigation.
Details remain sketchy, but ACC confirmed that the Villingili MP was questioned over an ongoing investigation.
Saud who recently switched to the opposition had been questioning by the police over the investigation into an alleged plot to assassinate the appellate court judge Shujau Usman.
Saud is a close ally of Ibrahim Haneef, who is the chief accused in the plot.
Haneef was serving in a high position at the education ministry before he was dismissed over the allegations.
