Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has summoned chief Criminal Court judge Abdul Baaree Yoosuf to the commission at 10:30am on Monday.
Details remain sketchy but Avas understands that the judicial watchdog has tabled a sit-down which involves the chief judge.
The chief criminal judge is among the three-judge bench to hear opposition Jumhoory Party (JP) leader and Maamigili lawmaker Gasim Ibrahim’s case. Criminal Court is set to resume Gasim’s trial on Monday after a brief hiatus.
