Recently appointed deputy economic minister Mujthaba Jaleel was dismissed on Monday.
The deputy economic minister’s dismissal came amid President Yameen Abdul Gayyoom’s changes to the senior administration posts. Deputy youth and sports minister Ali Adil was also removed from his post.
Mujthaba was the former CEO of ‘Aasandha’ parent company – National Social Protection Agency (NSPA).
