President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has sent his envoy Home Minister Dr. Mohamed Muizzu to meet with the now jailed former president Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, Chief Justice Abdulla Saeed and Supreme Court judge Ali Hameed on charges to overthrow the incumbent government.
Housing Minister in a tweet post meeting with the imprisoned former head of state and top court judges, said he clarified their physical state and health as well as inquired about the conditions of their confinements.
Former president Gayoom's advocate Hussain Shameem stated that a statement regarding Housing Minister's visit will be detailed and publicized later on Wednesday night.
