Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) has led several local companies to represent Maldives in the ongoing India International Travel Market (IITM).
MATATO said 10 local firms would be representing the Maldives in the fair being held from July 27-29 in Benguluru.
The IITM being held since 1998 brings together India's top travel agents, tour operators and cruise line firms, MATATO said.
The capital of the Indian state of Karnataka, Bengaluru remains home to top holidaymakers from India.
MATATO has recently stepped up efforts to boost Maldives tourism promotion abroad, with body already partaking in more than half a dozen different international travel fairs so far his year.
