A Chinese tourist has passed away at Paradise Island Resort.
Police confirmed that a 36 year old Chinese tourist was discovered dead in his room on Sunday.
The body was taken to ADK Hospital in capital Male' around 1 am early on Monday morning, where his death was pronounced dead.
This is the third incident where a tourist has passed way at the resort during January. Just last week, an elderly Czech Republic tourist passed away due to drowning.
