Foreign Ministry has revealed that Saudi Arabian aid for development projects have been confirmed by Saudi Arabia's Deputy Finance Minister, Hamad Bin Sulaiman Al Bazai.
Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid met with the Deputy Finance minister on Wednesday during his ongoing state visit to the Kingdom. He shared information regarding the current and future development projects being implemented in the Maldives.
At the meeting, Minister Shahid thanked the Saudi Arabian government for their aid and assistance during former president Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayyoom's tenure, who had maintained strong ties with the Kingdom, assuring their aid in several areas.
The Deputy Minister reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to assist the Maldives to achieve the developmental goals set by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s administration.
