Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid has departed to Saudi Arabia to attend the 14th session of the Islamic Summit Conference.
The Minister revealed in a tweet that a wide range of issues facing the Islamic Ummah will be discussed during the conference held in the Holy city of Makkah.
The Minister previously visited the Kingdom after assuming his position as the Foreign Minister. During the visit, the close bilateral relations between Maldives and Saudi Arabia was discussed, in addition to ways in which Saudi Arabia can assist in the development of Maldives.
