President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed arrived in Singapore on Saturday on the president's first official visit to Singapore.
The President's Office revealed that The President was received at the VIP Complex of Changi Airport by Singapore’s Senior Minister of State for Defense, H.E, Maliki Osman.
Whilst in the country, the President will call on the President of Singapore, H.E Halimah Yacob, and the Prime Minister of Singapore, H.E Lee Hsien Loong, to shine a light on how to further strengthen and diversify bilateral ties between the two countries. President Solih will also meet members of the Maldivian community in Singapore to better grasp their particular concerns and experiences, and inquire as to how the Maldivian Government can be of assistance, said the President's Office.
