Tourism Land Revenue contributes most to dollar income in June

Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) has said that the majority of the dollar income in June was steered by Tourism Land Revenue

Statistics for the month of June show that MIRA had received US$ 55.09 million as part of the dollar income. Out of this, US$ 21 million was brought in by Tourism Land Revenue. In comparison to the same period last year, the tax was able to bring in US$19 million as part of the dollar income.

While the Tourism Land Revenue has seen an increase, 12 new resorts have opened in the Maldives this year.
