President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has arrived in Dhiyamigili Island of Kolhumadulu Atoll today as part of his visit to some islands of Thaa atoll.
The President received a warm welcome from the residents of the island upon his arrival on Thursday afternoon.
The President is scheduled to meet council members and senior institutional representatives from Dhiyamigili Island.
President Solih will next visit Buruni Island, where he will attend the Golden Jubilee celebration of Buruni School and is scheduled to make remarks at the event.
President Solih will also meet with council members and senior institutional representatives from Buruni island and Vilufushi island during this trip, and will take part in discussions with the Kolhumadulu Atoll Council.
