Modernization of service at Maldivian's new ticketing office

Maldivian has inaugurated a new ticketing office, and are making continued efforts to modernize their services.

The Umar Shopping Arcade and City Square Building offices were revitalized and opened with the latest technology by long-standing employees of the Island Aviation service.

The ceremony's managing director Mohamed Rizvi stated that the company would work to better their services day by day and that their current objective was to modernize and expand services, as well provide a positive working environment for their employees.

Under this position, something I gave utmost importance to was providing a positive working environment. As such, we are proceeding to slowly revitalize the offices of various departments.

He ensured that the new offices would positively influence the provided customer services.

Our previous working environment was poor. But now, since the expansion of the call center, employee participation has improve. As a result, service will also improve.

Ticketing Application

Rizvi also revealed that through the various efforts being made to improve service, they are also working on adopting a mobile application for ticket service.

Bookings are already being made through Viber. Once the operation takes off in other countries, it would expand rapidly. The work to adopt a Mobile Application has already begun.

Maldivian, the national airline of Maldives is continuing to improve their services. As such, to secure travel to new destinations work is also being put to allocate a 330 branded airline. Maldivian has announced that this airline will be able to travel to China and other countries and cities of the like.
