The Presidential Commission Investigating Murders and Enforced Disappearances has appealed for public assistance in identifying and locating a suspect involved in the abduction and murder of Miniwan News journalist Ahmed Rilwan.
Rilwan was abducted near his flat in Hulhumale' in 2014. The commission recently revealed Rilwan was murdered by an extremist religious group after his abduction.
A video publicized by the commission on Monday showed a man on the motorcycle queue at the Hulhumale' Ferry Terminal. In their appeal posted on social media, the commission said they are seeking information on the man in relation to a case the commission was investigating.
Previously publicized videos of Rilwan's abduction showed the journalist being tailed at the Hulhumale' Ferry Terminal.
