Bank of Maldives (BML) has gifted motorized wheelchairs to 60 handicapped individuals around the country throughout the year.
CEO and Managing Director of BML, Tim Sawyer stated that the bank always gives importance to helping the community.
"It is of great pleasure to us that these special motorized wheelchairs bring positive changes to so many lives", Sawyer said.
According to the National Bank, the "Aharenge Bank" program has gifted motorized wheelchairs to 76 individuals since 2017.
BML has been sponsoring and offering their assistance to many programs promoting education, sport, and environment.
