The Al Jeri Holding of Kuwait has shown interest to establish a Nursing Home/Old People’s Home in the Maldives.
Al Jeri Holding is a company that operates in the education sector of Kuwait. Vice President Faisal Naseem visiting Kuwait on an invitation of the Al Jeri Holding has met with the Al Jeri Foundation’s Chairman and CEO Talal Khalifa Al Jeri, and some members of NGOs of Kuwait.
Al Jeri Holding has donated 40,000 books to Maldivian schools on this trip. In addition, the company has donated 10,000 books of Holy Quran to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and has shown interest to establish Old People’s Home.
The Vice President has visited Ajial Bilingual School and American, German School run by Al Jeri Holdings.
In this trip, the Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr Ahmed Zahir has visited Bait Al Zakat of Kuwait and met with senior officials.
