The prisoner who fled was found and arrested- he was taken to IGMH’ for some medical tests.
The 24-year-old Aisar Naseem who fled was taken to the state-owned hospital IGMH on Thursday morning.
The Maldives Correctional Services said that they have arrested him around 14:00 hours on Thursday with the help of the police.
Naseem is serving conviction of a drug case. Prior to taken to IGMH for tests, he was kept in Male’ Prison.
