Dhiraagu, in collaboration with Women In Tech Maldives, has initiated a workshop for women interested in entering the technological field.
Twenty eight women participated in the "Django Girls Male'" workshop launched to increase female involvement in the field.
Dhiraagu revealed that the workshop taught the women how to create websites utilizing the Python and Dgango framework. Coaches at the workshop were twelve employees at Women In Tech Maldives who had participated in the workshop the year prior.
Co-founder of Women In Tech Maldives, Aishath Adnan stated that this was a great opportunity for women to earn a living from their homes. The company's Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Bishara Hameed said that inducting women into the field was a part of the company's CSR initiative.
