UK Ambassador to the Maldives Caron Röhsler on Monday met with Chief of Defense Force Major General Abdulla Shamaal.
During the meeting, discussions were carried out regarding areas in which assistance can be provided to increase the capacity of Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), and on the strategic direction of MNDF. Ways in which relations between both countries can be strenghtened in areas of mutual interest such as maritime security and counter-terrorism were also discussed.
