STO seeks party to supply oil tanker

The State Trading Organization (STO) that imports most oils that are being supplied in the country has published an advertisement seeking a party to supply an additional oil taker for the company.

An advertised publicised by STO on the National Gazette states that the company wishes to procure an oil tanker of 29000 to 36,000 cubic meters.

According to STO, the vessel has to be specially designed for clean petroleum and it should be made in Japan, South Koran or in Europe.
The registration to bid for the oil tanker is open until 2 March while bid submission is 12 March.

The company had purchased 25,000 metric ton of oil tanker “MT Alimas” worth of USD 14.7 million in 2018.
