The National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC) on Monday said two people who fled authorities after testing positive for COVID-19 remain missing.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) last week revealed seven people whose random samples tested positive for COVID-19 could not be reached on the contact numbers they provided. While five of the persons have now been found, two people still remain unaccounted for, said NEOC. Both are expatriates. The search for the missing people is still ongoing, said NEOC.
NEOC previously said if the attempts to locate the persons are unsuccessful, the identities of the persons will be revealed under the authority granted to the Director General of Public Health.
