The Health Protection Agency (HPA) on Sunday said 52 people recovered from COVID-19 over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 453. The number of recoveries add up to 27 percent of total infections identified in the archipelago.

Out of the 1773 positive cases recorded in the Maldives, 1313 cases are currently active. While 13 people are receiving treatment in the hospital, two patients are in the Intensive Care Unit. According to HPA, their conditions are stable.
