The central bank, Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has stated although government offices will be closed on the occasion of the Independence Day, the banks will be open on July 29.
MMA said although the government will be closed on the occasion Eid al-Adha and the Independence Day of the Maldives from July 26 to August 3, MMA and other banks will be open.
The business hours will be 08:30 to 14:00 hours on July 29. Letters and other documents will be accepted on the day.
Independence Day of the Maldives is July 26, and this year’s Eid al-Adha falls on July 31.
