An additional COVID-19 death has been recorded in the Maldives.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), a 64 year old Maldivian female admitted at the Hulhumale’ Medical Facility passed away on Monday evening at 05:36pm. This is the 23rd COVID-19 death in the Maldives.
The number of COVID-19 deaths in the Maldives have been increasing over the past month. While 5,786 positive cases of COVID-19 have been recorded to date, the number of recoveries is 3,349. The number of active cases is 2,414 out of which 146 are hospitalised.
