The parliament has approved to appoint Hamid Abdul Ghafoor to the Police Board. 41 parliamentarians voted to appoint the former MP to the board.
The Police Board is comprised of seven members, including two members appointed by the president, and three members who are experienced in technical fields and two members from among the general public. The two members from the public are appointed through the parliament.
