The duration of previously announced school closure has been extended by another week.
The government last week announced a one week closure of schools amid a dramatic spike in the number of positive cases of COVID-19 identified in the capital.
While the situation in the capital still remains dire, the Ministry has extended the closure period by another week. According to the Education Ministry, only online classes will be held for grades LKG through 12 from May 16 to 20th.
