Classes will be held online for the remainder of the academic year, the Education Ministry has decided.
An announcement made by the ministry on Wednesday said the Health Protection Agency (HPA) recommends holding classes online until the end of the school year due to the current COVID-19 situation. Therefore, classes will be held online for all grades of all schools in the Greater Male' Region until the end of the final term, the ministry said.
The academic year will end on June 24, 2020. Academic reports will be handed over on the date and students will go on year-end holiday until early August.
