President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih is in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on a personal trip.
The president is traveling following the death of his brother, Ahmed Mohamed Solih, who passed away in Dubai late Sunday. According to the family, Ahmed, 55, was seeking treatment for a serious medical condition and passed away after suffering a heart attack.
The President's Office said the president is due to return on June 23, Wednesday.
