The Maldives on Sunday reported 63 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), 13 positive cases were recorded from the Greater Male' Region while 34 cases were reported from the atolls, including 6 cases from resorts. An additional 22 cases were reported from islands under development. This increases the archipelago's tally to 75,879.
While 2,425 cases are active at this time, 12 people are currently hospitalized. No COVID-19 deaths were announced over the last 24 hours, and the country's toll remains at 215.
