The Maldives on Friday reported 92 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), 21 positive cases were recorded from the Greater Male' Region while 66 cases were reported from the atolls, including 18 cases from resorts. This increases the archipelago's tally to 76,546.
While 2,606 cases are active at this time, 11 people are currently hospitalized. One COVID-19 death was announced over the last 24 hours, increasing the country's toll to 218.
