Dhidhdhoo island back under HPA monitoring

The Health Protection Agency (HPA)'s monitoring mechanisms have been activated in Ha. Dhidhdhoo once again. This is the third time the island has been placed under HPA's monitoring.

Dhidhdhoo was most recently placed under HPA's monitoring in June for 28 days. The mechanisms were lifted on July 21. The island has been placed under monitoring status once again after five days after an individual who consulted at the island's flu clinic tested positive for COVID-19. HPA said contact tracing is ongoing and entry and exit will be restricted until the process is completed.

13 islands are under HPA monitoring in addition to Dhidhdhoo. They are F. Feeali, Fuvahmulah City, Ga. Villingili, Aa. Thoddooo, R. Dhuvaafaru, Ga. Kooddoo, R. Meedhoo, K. Guraidhoo, Sh. Foakaidhoo, GDh. Nadella, K. Kaashidhoo, Aa. Rasdhoo and Kulhudhuffushi CIty.
