The Maldives on Tuesday reported 108 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), out of the 5,301 samples tested over the past 24 hours, 25 positive cases were recorded from the Greater Male' Region while 72 cases were reported from the atolls. 13 cases were reported from resorts. This increases the archipelago's tally to 78,578.
While 2,562 cases are active at this time, 19 people are currently hospitalized. No COVID-19 deaths were announced over the last 24 hours, and the country's toll remains at 222.
