Dhangethi, Maamendhoo, Thinadhoo under HPA monitoring

ADh. Dhangethi, Ga. Maamendhoo and GDh. Thinadhoo have been placed under the Health Protection Agency (HPA)'s monitoring status.

HPA said the three islands were placed under monitoring after positive cases of COVID-19 were identified on the islands. The islands will remain closed until the contact tracing process is completed, said HPA.

In addition to Dhangethi, Maamendhoo and Thinadhoo, 13 other islands are under HPA monitoring. They are R. Dhuvaafaru, K. Kaashudhoo, Sh. Feevah, Ha. Thakandhoo, Dh. Kudahuvadhoo, Aa. Himandhoo, Th. Hirilandhoo, HDh. Makunudhoo, B. Eydhafushi, B. Kamadhoo, ADh. Hangyameedhoo, HDh. Nellaidhoo and Ha. Ihavandhoo. Out of these islands, R. Dhuvaafaru has been under HPA monitoring for the longest. The island has been under HPA monitoring since May 25.
