China has appointed a new Ambassador to the Maldives.
China's new ambassador to the Maldives is Her Excellency Wang Lixin. The ambassador posted a tweet on Sunday announcing her arrival in the Maldives and said she was looking forward to working with the government and people of the Maldives.
The new ambassador was appointed in place of Zhang Lizhong, whose term as Chinese ambassador to the Maldives ended last April.
